Mini Club Championships 2024 - Entries Open!

Dear Members,

We are very pleased to announce that entries for this years Mini Club Championships are now OPEN! You must sign up via the LTA website, entries cost £2 per player, per event and the tournament is exclusively for members of WLTC only.

Who is it for?

Any members who were born in the year 2014 or earlier (i.e. 2015, 2016 etc.) and who have a basic understanding of the rules, scoring and serving and are able to hold a short rally. If you are unsure, please speak to the players coach to ask for advice.

When is it?

Sunday 3rd November on the Indoor Courts :

Mini Red (8&U) - 9am-12pm*

Mini Orange (9&U) - 12:30pm-3:30pm*

Mini Green (10&U) - 4pm-7pm*

*please note timings are subject to change based on number of entries recieved.

How do I enter?

Please visit the LTA website - https://www.lta.org.uk/

Sign in to the players account (or create one, for free, if your child doesn't have one)

Hover over the 'compete' tab and click on the 'find a competition' link

Type in the tournament key - BER-24-0272 in the search bar at the top and click on the 'Windsor Lawn Tennis Club - Mini Club Championships' link

Click the big green ' enter ' button in the top right hand corner of your screen

This is a great way to introduce your child to competing if they don't have much experience and although it is a tournament, our organisers are determined to make it an enjoyable experience for everyone, regardless of their level (although we do ask that everyone has a base understanding and ability to play a tennis match). For the Mini Red event, we will have scorers on each court and we will be using sponge balls (this is a national requirement for all indoor 8&U competitions). For the Orange and Green events there will be organisers down on the court at all times to make sure help is always there if the players need it!

Not receiving Email Newsletters?

  • Login and check you email address is correct.
  • Contact Us if you changed your email address.
  • Check you spam/junk folders (and mark the message as "not spam/junk" if you find it there).
  • Add "wltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Contacts list or email address book.
  • Contact your email service provider and ask them why you're not receiving messages sent from wltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.

Hotmail/Outlook Users

  • Login to your Hotmail/Outlook account.
  • Click Settings > View all Outlook settings > Junk Email
  • Add "mycourts.co.uk" and "no-reply.mycourts.co.uk" to your Safe Senders and domains.

GMail Users

  • Go to Gmail Settings > Filters and Blocked Addresses. If "Windsor Lawn Tennis Club <wltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" appears in the list of blocked addresses, select "Windsor Lawn Tennis Club <wltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk>" and click "unblock selected addresses".

Other email service providers may have similar settings -- please follow their instructions. If not, contact their support desk and request delivery of messages from wltc@no-reply.mycourts.co.uk.
