We hope this email finds you well. As discussed at the AGM, the Committee has decided to change the rules regarding guests. Unfortunately, we have been experiencing some issues with members not tagging and paying for their guests, and so we are being forced to implement a change to the rules in an attempt to stop this from happening. Please read carefully the ruling below.
Members are entitled to bring a maximum of 6 guests throughout the year from 1st November-31st October. This can be the same guest 6 times, or 6 different guests up to 6 times a year. As this is a new rule implementation, every member is entitled to bring 6 guests from now until 31st October 2025.
Members are reminded that they MUST tag their playing partner or "guest" on mycourts and pay the guest fee before their court booking time commences. Any members who are seen playing with a guest, but have not tagged one on the system, will be sent an initial warning to remind members tag their guests in all future bookings. The bar staff will also apply the guest fee to the booking, and your mycourts account will be charged the guest fee. Should this happen again, an official warning will be issued to the member, with any further offences being subject of membership suspension, or possibly inactivation.
WLTC are in a very lucky position to have the club thriving with members and a long waiting list. The Committee feel that this new ruling will help to protect the members court time, to allow you the best chance of being able to book courts when you want them most.
