Happy New Year! We are wasting no time getting back into the swing of things here at WLTC - as entries for the Australian Open Tournament are now live! Please see below for details:
The event will take place on Sunday 19th January 9am-1pm on the 3 indoor courts.
WHAT IS IT?
“The Australian Open” is our first event of the Windsor Grand Slam series. It will be run on the indoor acrylic courts at Windsor Lawn Tennis Club, and we will be running it as a fun, social event.
FORMAT
- Players will enter the tournament singularly
- Once entries close, the competition organisers will create pairs, and after each match you will be paired with a new partner - creating a fun, social environment for everyone to enjoy.
- We will be running this tournament as “mixed”, although not necessarily in the traditional sense….
- The number of games you win will be converted into points, and the top 4 players with the most points at the end of the group stages will compete in the final.
FOOD
Your entry fee will include a complimentary coffee or tea upon arrival. And there will be other food available to purchase at the bar for the duration of the tournament.
