REMINDER: Indoor Court Access when Clubhouse is Closed

Dear Members,

Last week we confirmed the new indoor court opening hours. The new door access to the indoor court can be used from Sunday 10th December.

Please remember if you have made a booking after 6pm on Sundays - you will need to call the bar (01753 830820) to get the 4 digit pin code you will need to access the indoor court for your booking.

REMINDER: If you do not call the bar to retrieve the code - you will not be able to get into the indoor courts.

REMINDER: You must also TAG every playing partner, including any guests, so it's clear for the staff to check in advance who is playing.

REMINDER: Please be aware the new CCTV system is now in operation

Thanks for your co-operation.

INSTRUCTIONS REMINDERS:
HOW TO USE THE NEW INDOOR COURT ACCESS DOOR

If your court booking starts/finishes outside of the clubhouse opening hours, please read carefully:

1. Make your booking (as normal) on MYCOURTS ie 6pm Sunday evening – you will receive auto confirmation when you book the court with a ‘ reminder ’ to contact the bar to receive a 4 digit pin code.

2. Call the bar and they will give you a pin code to use to access the indoor courts. Please note the pin code will be given to the lead booker. Please remember - if you are booking a court when the clubhouse is closed - make sure you give yourself time in advance to call the bar during the clubhouse opening hours!

3. When you arrive for your booking, see the photos below, this is the access door to the indoor courts:

4. Enter the 4 digit pin code, the door will auto release open, walk through, and the door will then auto close and lock once you are inside.

5. Once inside, you will then have access to the indoor courts, changing rooms, toilets, and corridor only – the access door to the foyer will be locked

6. You must exit the same door you entered, by pressing the button on the inside of the door – which releases the door open. The door will automatically close behind you once you have left the building.

Reminder – if your indoor court booking finishes at 11pm on a weekday – please exit the new door as the bar staff will be locking the club as per normal.

RULES, EMERGENCY PROCEDURES, & REMINDERS

Rules:

To access the indoor courts you MUST have a booking, made via your MYCOURTS account.
All players MUST be members, or a guest of a member.
Any guest MUST be tagged on MYCOURTS, which charges the guest fee at the point of booking.
Please be aware staff will not be on site, so you are playing at your own risk.
Please do not give the pin code to anyone else. The lead booker must call the bar to receive the pin code – and be aware to call during the clubhouse open hours. Please see below reminder of the clubhouse opening hours.
The 4 digit pin code will be changed regularly for security purposes – so please be aware you will need to call to receive the latest pin code, for every booking you make.
Please make sure when you arrive for your booking, if you are a few minutes early, to swiftly walk into the corridor once you enter the new door, as members may be playing on court 1.
We expect all members who use the courts outside of the clubhouse hours to behave accordingly with the club rules and to leave the courts and changing rooms tidy. You must leave the court when your booking time ends.
The club will be closely monitoring the new extended hours, and changes may be made to the access if rules are not followed – please be aware CCTV will be in operation for security and safety purposes.

Emergency Procedures:

In the event of an emergency - contact details will be displayed on the inside of the new door.
A first aid kit will be available and located next to the new door.

Reminders:

Please be aware the 4 digit pin code to access the indoor courts will ONLY work when the clubhouse is closed (ie 6pm-11pm Sundays). While the clubhouse is open, please enter & exit the building as per normal out of the front entrance. The new door access is to be used only when the clubhouse is closed.
The changing rooms, toilets + the water fountain are available for use when the clubhouse is closed
Please wait in the corridor for your booking time to start, then enter the court, as per the normal club etiquette rules.
The roller door MUST be kept closed at all times when the clubhouse is closed

In the event of a Fire – Reminders:

In the event of a fire – the fire escape door is located at the far left end of the indoor courts. Please note – this fire door MUST be kept closed at all times when the clubhouse is closed.
In the event of a fire the new door will also still open when the button is pressed.
