Ovarian Cancer Action - Charity Tennis Tournament, Raffle & More!

Dear Members,

We are pleased to invite you to a very special charity tennis tournament and fundraiser in support of Ovarian Cancer Action.

This event holds particular meaning for our club, as a couple of our members have recently been diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Since their diagnosis, the Pendleton's have taken the time to learn more about this condition and, sadly, how far research, treatment, and prevention still lag behind many other cancers. In response, Lavinia, Natalie, and Alex have committed to a year of fundraising activities to support ovarian cancer charities. WLTC is incredibly proud to host this tennis tournament, along with a raffle and afternoon tea, to help them reach their incredible fundraising goal of £20,000 .

Planned Event Schedule :

10:00am – 1:00pm: Charity Tennis Tournament
1:00pm – 1:30pm: Light Lunch
1:30pm – 3:30pm: Tea, Coffee, Cake & Raffle

We would love for as many members as possible to take part, whether on the court or by joining us for the social side of the day.

Prices:

Tournament + Lunch: £20 per person
Lunch only: £10 per person
Raffle tickets: £1.50 each or £5 for a strip of 5

To help us create a warm, relaxed “coffee morning” atmosphere after the tournament, we would greatly appreciate any donations of cakes or savoury snacks. This will not only enhance the day but also help us raise even more funds.

Raffle tickets can be purchased in CASH at the bar.

Please feel free to bring along friends and guests – the more support, the better*!

If anyone has any raffle prizes they would be able to donate we would greatly appreciate them - please leave them behind the bar and we will keep them safe before the big day!
